COAL INDIA : NON-BINDING MOU WITH HINDUSTAN URVARAK & RASAYAN LIMITED
• Coal India Limited (CIL) and Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) have executed a Non-Binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 29, 2026. • The MoU is for exploring the development of a Coal Gasification based Urea Production at Sindri, Jharkhand. • The initial focus will be to assess the technical, commercial, and implementation modalities of the project. • This will facilitate the preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility Report (PFR) for evaluating project viability.
