EXIDE INDUSTRIES : FURTHER INVESTMENT IN WHOLLY OWNED SUBSIDIARY
• Exide Industries invested Rs. 99.99 crore on rights basis in wholly owned subsidiary Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL). • With this investment, total investment in EESL stands at Rs. 5,202.23 crore. • The investment is to meet funding requirements for a greenfield plant in Bengaluru for lithium-ion battery cells, modules, and packs.
