BLUE DART: SHOW CAUSE NOTICE RECEIVED BY SUBSIDIARY FOR GST SCRUTINY

• Blue Dart Aviation Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, received a Show Cause Notice (SCN) no. 16/2026 - GST (JC) dated September 30, 2026, from the Office of the Joint Commissioner, Chennai South Commissionerate, Central GST. • The SCN relates to scrutiny of GST returns for Financial Years 2022-23 and 2023-24. • Allegations include short payment of tax, excess availment of Input Tax Credit (ITC) on imports and other reconciliation differences. • The SCN proposes an aggregate tax demand of ₹27,09,70,969/-, comprising ₹21,72,60,034/- for FY 2022-23 and ₹5,37,10,935/- for FY 2023-24, along with interest and penalty. • The matter is at the show-cause stage, and the subsidiary will examine the contents and furnish its response.
