TATA STEEL LIMITED : AMALGAMATION APPROVED WITH RUJUVALIKA INVESTMENTS LIMITED
• The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench, has approved and sanctioned the scheme of amalgamation between Tata Steel Limited and Rujuvalika Investments Limited. • The amalgamation aims to simplify the corporate structure of Tata Steel group, reduce multiplicity of legal and regulatory compliances, and result in cost savings. • All debts, liabilities, duties, and obligations of Rujuvalika Investments Limited will be transferred to Tata Steel Limited. • Rujuvalika Investments Limited will be dissolved without winding up. • Impact: Simplifies corporate structure and reduces compliance costs.
