HINDALCO : PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF ALUCHEM COMPANIES TERMINATED
• Hindalco Industries and its step-down subsidiary Aditya Holdings LLC have jointly decided to terminate the Equity Purchase Agreement for AluChem Companies, Inc. • The termination is due to extended closure delays beyond the control of either party. • Hindalco's strategy of scaling high-value, technology-led value-added products in its specialty alumina business remains unchanged. • The company will continue to evaluate opportunities, including in the United States. • AluChem will continue to independently serve its customers.
