SHYAM METALICS : SIGNS MOU WITH MAHARASHTRA GOVT FOR RS 50000 CR INTEGRATED STEEL COMPLEX
• Memorandum of Understanding signed with Government of Maharashtra to establish a 9 million tonnes capacity integrated steel complex in Chandrapur, Vidarbha region. • The project will involve an estimated investment of ₹50,000 crore, marking one of Vidarbha region's largest single industrial investments. • The integrated steel complex will be developed in two phases with a total capacity of 9 MTPA. • The facility will create approximately 10,000 direct jobs and 20,000 indirect employment opportunities. • The agreement was formally executed in Mumbai by Dr. P. Anbalagan, IAS, Principal Secretary (Industries, Investment & Services) and Mr. Brij Bhushan Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director of Shyam Metalics.
