OPTO CIRCUITS (INDIA) LIMITED : REPLACEMENT OF RESOLUTION PROFESSIONAL
• The company has informed about the replacement of the Resolution Professional (RP) for the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP). • The Hon'ble NCLT, Bengaluru Bench, has approved the appointment of M/s. Waterfall Insolvency Professional Private Limited, represented by Ms. Shirley Mathew, as the new RP. • This appointment is in place of the erstwhile RP, Mr. Pankaj Srivastava. • The Committee of Creditors (CoC), holding 78.62% voting share, had resolved to replace the existing RP in their meeting on July 14, 2026. • The NCLT order dated August 31, 2026, in I.A. (IBC) No. 788/2026 in C.P. (IB) No. 199/BB/2018 approved this replacement. Impact: Neutral (Procedural update regarding RP appointment in CIRP)
