• NCLT Ahmedabad bench admitted a Section 9 IBC petition filed by Asier Metals Private Limited against Polycab India on October 07, 2026 • Petition relates to an alleged operational debt of ₹2.79 Cr; CIRP initiation ordered against the company • Company says it has strong grounds of appeal, including that the matter is a commercial dispute, and is filing an appeal before NCLAT • Company does not expect any adverse or material impact on its financial or business operations from the order • Polycab continues to hold a zero-debt position with net cash in excess of ₹4,000 Cr and net worth of ₹11,682 Cr as per audited FY26 statements
