TATAPOWER : TP SOLAR RECORDS 1 GW MODULE, 0.9 GW CELL OUTPUT IN Q2 FY27 AT RS 4,300 CR PLANT

• TP Solar, solar manufacturing arm and wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL), produced 1 GW modules and 0.9 GW cells in Q2 FY27 (July-September 2026) • H1 FY27 output at 2 GW modules and 1.8 GW cells, reflecting capacity ramp-up and improving operational efficiency • Modules are Domestic Content Requirement compliant and listed under the Government of India's ALMM • Operates one of India's largest single-location 4.3 GW solar cell and module facility at Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu • TPREL has invested nearly ₹4,300 Cr in the facility; workforce is nearly 80% women • Plant uses TOPCon and Mono PERC technologies with AI/ML-driven systems and Automated Guided Vehicles
