• NCLT Ahmedabad admits Section 9 petition filed by Asier Metals for alleged operational debt of ₹2.79 Cr • Petition CP(IB) No.273/9/AHM/2026 admitted under Section 9(5); CIRP initiated against Polycab • Moratorium declared under Section 14; IRP Mr. Sunit Jagdishchandra Shah appointed • Debt arose from supply of aluminium ingots; Polycab disputes amount citing provisional billing, credit notes and reconciliation • Polycab has filed appeal before NCLAT; hearing scheduled on October 09, 2026 • Company says alleged debt is below FY27 materiality threshold of ₹109.28 Cr and expects no material impact
