OSWALPUMPS : TO SET UP 1.2 GW SOLAR CELL PLANT WORTH OVER RS 160 CR
• Wholly owned subsidiary Oswal Solar Energy approved greenfield 1.2 GW solar cell plant at Karnal, Haryana • Board approved variation of IPO proceeds; ₹159.85 Cr of unutilised proceeds redirected to the cell plant • Funds moved away from aluminium frame facility, balance 300 MW EVA encapsulant and 500 MW solar module facilities • Total project cost estimated at ₹455.85 Cr • Cell plant intended for captive consumption, to meet ~75% of the Company's overall cell requirement • Deployment proposed by FY2028; subject to shareholder and statutory approvals
