• Crude steel capacity targeted at 604 MT by 2047, compared with approximately 220 MT currently — nearly 175% expansion. • Finished steel demand projected to reach 505 MT by 2047. • Per capita steel consumption targeted at 302 kg by 2047. • Iron ore requirement projected at 772 MT and coking coal demand at 236 MT. • Steel scrap consumption expected to increase to 123 MT from 36 MT in FY26 — approximately 242% growth. • Steel exports targeted at 45 MT by 2047, including indirect exports. • Carbon emission intensity targeted to decline to 1.54 tonnes of CO₂ per tonne of crude steel from 2.54 tonnes.
