TRUMP'S RUSSIAN DIESEL DEAL UNLIKELY TO BRING PRICES DOWN 🔴🔴

Trump says Russia will release 4.8 million tons of diesel, equivalent to roughly 35.8 million barrels. That sounds substantial, but it would cover just nine days of U.S. diesel demand, according to EIA data. Only 300,000 tons are expected initially, while Ukrainian strikes have significantly constrained Russian refining capacity. Jefferies warns the deal is unlikely to materially lower diesel prices, especially as the promised supplies must serve global markets, not just the U.S.
