POWERGRID : ACQUIRES LAKADIA II POWER TRANSMISSION FOR RS 18.43 CR

• Acquired 100% stake in Lakadia II Power Transmission Ltd from Bid Process Coordinator REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) under TBCB route • Cash consideration of about ₹18.43 Cr including 50,000 equity shares at par at ₹10 each, plus assets and liabilities as on 12.10.2026 • Project SPV to establish Inter-State Transmission system for "Transmission system for Integration of Power from RE Projects in Lakadia REZ in Gujarat-Phase 11 (7500MW)" on BOOT basis • Project comprises new 765/400kV Lakadia-II sub-station in Gujarat, 765kV transmission lines and installation of synchronous condenser • Target incorporated 09.05.2026; yet to start commercial operation with no turnover in last 3 years; operates in India
