• Subsidiary Goodluck Defence & Aerospace Ltd (GDAL) emerged as sole technically qualified bidder for specialised 155 mm HE M1A4 Ready-to-Fill Artillery Shells to Munitions India Limited (MIL) • Qualification follows audit and technical evaluation of various existing suppliers; no order value or contract award stated • Business subject to applicable procurement procedures, commercial terms and orders from MIL • GDAL runs a dedicated defence plant with capacity of 1,50,000 shells per annum, being expanded to 400,000 shells per annum • Parent operates six plants across Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat with total capacity of 5,00,000 MTPA, including 2,85,000 MTPA value-added products; exports to over 100 countries
