POLYCAB : NCLAT STAYS NCLT ORDER ADMITTING CIRP

• Hon'ble NCLAT, Principal Bench, New Delhi stayed and kept in abeyance in its entirety the NCLT Ahmedabad order dated October 7, 2026 • NCLT had admitted and initiated CIRP under Section 9 of IBC against Polycab over an alleged operational debt of ₹2.79 Cr (Asier Metals Private Limited vs Polycab India Limited) • Company says it has a strong case with good grounds on merits and calls it a commercial dispute of ₹2.79 Cr • Appeal before NCLAT presently scheduled for hearing on October 26, 2026; business and management operations continue as usual • Company states zero-debt position, net cash in excess of ₹4,000 Cr and net worth of ₹11,682 Cr as per audited FY26 statements • Company does not expect any adverse or material impact on financial or business operations from the said order
