TEAMLEASE : RECEIVES RS 52.76 CR GST SHOW CAUSE NOTICE
• Show cause notice dated September 29, 2026 from Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (LTU)-03, Bengaluru under Section 73(1) of KGST/CGST Act for FY 2022-23 • Quantum implication ₹52.76 Cr: tax ₹28.92 Cr, interest ₹20.95 Cr and penalty ₹2.89 Cr • Of nine issues raised in Form GST DRC-01A, seven were dropped by the proper officer based on company submissions; SCN covers the remaining two • Company states tax on exempt supplies of ₹18.16 Cr was computed at 18% each under CGST and SGST instead of 9% each, overstating the demand by ₹3.27 Cr • Company evaluating the notice and will file reply in Form GST DRC-06 on or before October 29, 2026 • Intimation to exchanges was filed with a delay of 13 days due to an internal communication gap
