BIOCON: SECURES GLOBAL PATENT SETTLEMENT WITH GENENTECH FOR BREAST CANCER BIOSIMILAR 🟢

• Biocon has entered into a global patent settlement and licence agreement with Genentech for Pebrilzo (bPertuzumab). • Agreement resolves all pending patent disputes between the companies, including in the US, Canada and other jurisdictions. • Europe & UK: Licensed launch permitted from Q1 CY2027. • United States: Licensed launch permitted from Q3 CY2028. • Rest of World: Launch permitted during CY2026–2028, or earlier under certain circumstances. • Pebrilzo is a biosimilar of Perjeta (pertuzumab), used to treat HER2-positive breast cancer. • All commercial launches remain subject to regulatory approvals.
