MAMATA : RECTECH FILM GETS APR DESIGN RECOGNITION IN US

• RecTech recyclable high-barrier packaging film receives APR Design for Recyclability Recognition from the Association of Plastic Recyclers, USA • Recognition granted October 13, 2026 via APR's Critical Guidance Recognition pathway; valid until October 13, 2031 • APR Review Committee evaluated the laminate on the FPE-CG-01 test protocol and said it meets or exceeds the most stringent criteria • Tested laminate used up to 4% EVOH, 2% MAH tie layers, 1.55% PU ink and 2.33% PU laminating adhesive by weight • RecTech now validated in three markets: CIPET Bengaluru in India, 100% recyclability certification from Institut cyclos-HTP in Europe, and now APR in the US • Company to work with brand owners and converters on application evaluation, production trials and commercial adoption • RecTech supported by 7/9-layer co-extrusion blown film plants, pouch makers and HFFS & VFFS packaging machines
