REGAAL : GETS NOTICE TO REPAY RS 1.66 CR EXCESS SGST CLAIM

• Bihar Department of Industries notice alleges incorrect SGST reimbursement claim under Bihar Industrial Promotion Policy 2016/2011 for April 2019 to December 2024 • Aggregate excess claim/reimbursement at ₹16.56 Cr, including additional ₹1.66 Cr over the earlier February 2026 notice of ₹14.90 Cr • Company directed to deposit the amount and explain why it should not be recovered with interest at 18% per annum • Company is examining the notice and will take appropriate legal steps, including filing replies/appeals • Based on current assessment, ~₹11.48 Cr (Rs 114.81 million) is recovered/expected to be recovered from distributors for breach of agreement on using SGST credits to discharge IGST liabilities
