• NPPA demand notice dated October 13, 2026 of ₹52.75 Cr against Hetero Healthcare, Pure and Cure Healthcare (Akums' wholly-owned subsidiary) and Abaris Healthcare • Alleged manufacturing/marketing of Lanol 1000 mg injection 100ml without prior price approval under Section 15 of DPCO, 2013; client fixed MRP above prescribed limits • Total impact includes overcharging ₹18.95 Cr for Dec 2017-Aug 2024 batches, 100% penalty ₹18.95 Cr and interest ₹14.85 Cr up to Oct 30, 2026 • Prime responsibility to respond lies with Hetero Healthcare as marketer; supply agreements make marketing entity solely liable for DPCO violations and penalties
