MANKIND: NETHERLANDS SUBSIDIARY ACQUIRES 70% STAKE IN ARMED CELL THERAPEUTICS FOR EUR 48 MN

• Mankind Pharma (Netherlands) B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary, to acquire 70% stake in Armed Cell Therapeutics B.V. (Belgium) for EUR 48 million in cash • Board approved additional investment up to EUR 45 million in Mankind Netherlands, raising aggregate limit to EUR 50 million inclusive of prior EUR 5 million • ACTx is a Belgium-incorporated biotech developing next-generation armed CAR-T therapies; lead programs target non-Hodgkin lymphoma and small cell lung cancer • ACTx R&D led by experienced teams in US and EU; founders include Paul Stoffels (ex-J&J CSO), John Mellors and Peter Verhaeghe • Cash consideration to be invested in instalments; completion per definitive agreement
