• RBI issued No Objection Certificate on October 15, 2026 for REC's proposed merger into Power Finance Corporation Limited • REC is the Transferor Company and PFC is the Transferee Company in the scheme under Sections 230-232 of the Companies Act, 2013 • Scheme remains subject to other statutory and regulatory approvals, including approval of respective shareholders and creditors • Boards of REC and PFC had approved the Scheme, as intimated on June 28, 2026, subject to applicable approvals
