HIGHNESS : OPENS NEW GLASS CUTTING LINE AT RABALE
• New glass cutting line commissioned at Rabale manufacturing plant in Navi Mumbai; commercial production began October 19, 2026 • Installed capacity of 300 glass units per day • Processes TFT-LCD Open Cell glass into customised dimensions with 0.5 mm tolerance • Company says it is India's only company with this specialised glass cutting technology and facility • Expected cost impact of about 10% initially, rising to 30-40% as production scales and processes optimise • Targets industrial, medical, railway, defence and transportation display markets; metro projects and overseas orders under discussion
