SRF LIMITED: BOARD APPROVES ₹600 CR CAPEX FOR BATTERY FOIL MANUFACTURING FACILITY

• NEW PROJECT: Manufacturing facility for aluminium foil used in battery applications. • SUBSIDIARY: Project to be executed through wholly owned subsidiary SRF Altech Limited. • LOCATION: J etapur, Madhya Pradesh, at the subsidiary's existing site. • TOTAL INVESTMENT: ₹600 Cr, to be implemented in two phases of ₹300 Cr each. • PROPOSED CAPACITY: 12,000 MTPA. • PHASE I COMPLETION: September 2028. • PHASE II COMPLETION: September 2030. • FUNDING: Mix of debt and internal accruals. • GROWTH OPPORTUNITY: Targets battery foil demand from energy storage and electric vehicle sectors.
