DIXON : ISSUES PADGET GUARANTEE FOR $7 MN

• Dixon issued an unconditional guarantee for wholly owned subsidiary Padget Electronics in favour of Quanta Computer Inc. • Guarantee aggregate limit is US$7,000,000 and becomes effective if Padget defaults on Quanta invoice terms for materials, parts and components. • Padget is an unlisted material wholly owned subsidiary of Dixon. • Guarantee is at arm's length; no immediate impact on Dixon except to the extent of the guarantee amount. • The guarantee will be a contingent liability in Dixon's books.
