APOLLO : OPENS 9,000 MT BULK EXPLOSIVES SILO UNIT AT ASANSOL

• IDL Explosives Ltd, a group company, commissioned the Bolkunda Silo Unit, a bulk explosives silo plant of 9,000 MT capacity • Plant is spread over 8.4 acres of land near Asansol, West Bengal • Located in the Eastern and Central Coal Belt; to serve mining operations of Eastern Coalfields, Central Coalfields and other regional customers • Silo-based setup enables just-in-time conversion of emulsion matrix at point of use, reducing transport of finished explosives and improving safety • Expands IDL's national network of bulk explosives plants and silos; strengthens capacity to service long-term bulk explosives orders secured from Coal India subsidiaries earlier this year
