NLCINDIA : SIGNS MOU FOR 3200 MW ODISHA PLANT WORTH OVER RS 35,000 CR
• MoU signed with Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha (IPICOL) at Mumbai on 22.10.2026 • Covers a 3200 MW (4x800 MW) ultra super-critical coal-based thermal power plant with potential investment of ₹35,000 Cr • Plant expected to generate employment for approximately 4,000 persons • Also includes a beach sand mineral processing facility with tentative investment of ₹2,000 Cr and potential employment of 500 • Third element is exploration of coal gasification and Syn-Gas production for the fertilizer sector
