OIL INDIA : DISCOVERS NATURAL GAS IN KG SHALLOW OFFSHORE BLOCK

• Well Godavari-1 drilled as an appraisal well in DSF block KG-DSF/GSKW/2018, awarded as sole operator • Hydrocarbon presence reported in the Matsyapuri formation in the depth range of 2024 to 2027 meters • Production testing started on 16 October 2026; natural gas flowed at about 1 lakh SCMD, with peak flow of 2 lakh SCMD • Condensate flow at about 170 bopd with well head pressure of 1,815 psi • Preparations are on for testing the next higher up zone
