BPCL: APPROVES NEW SUBSIDIARY FOR GREENFIELD REFINERY & PETROCHEMICAL COMPLEX IN ANDHRA PRADESH
• New Subsidiary: Board approved incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in India to execute the proposed greenfield refinery and petrochemical project • Project Location: Ramayapatnam, Andhra Pradesh • Initial Capital: BPCL authorised initial share capital of up to ₹4,900 Cr for the subsidiary • Project Development: Subsidiary will manage project execution, due diligence, financing arrangements and partnerships • Funding Strategy: Dedicated entity will facilitate engagement with lenders and potential strategic partners • Project Status: Detailed feasibility reports are being finalised; final investment decision and financial commitments will be considered separately • Regulatory Approvals: Project remains subject to government, statutory and regulatory approvals
