PARADEEP PARIVAHAN : WINS 100 ELECTRIC TRUCKS ORDER FROM JSW GROUP
• Secures 10-year contract to deploy and operate 100 electric trucks for bulk transportation between Nandyal (Andhra Pradesh) and Vijayanagar (Karnataka) • Deployment covers ~330-km one-way corridor for clinker and slag with estimated cargo volume of 1.25 lakh MT per month • Electric trucks to be supplied by JSW Greentech Limited • With this and other orders, PPL's total transportation fleet expected to increase approximately threefold versus previous year • Deployment estimated to potentially displace ~47.5 lakh litres of diesel and avoid 14,256 tonnes of direct CO2 emissions annually
