PAYTM Q2: APPROVES UP TO ₹500 CR INVESTMENT IN PAYTM CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES; SINGAPORE EXPANSION PLANNED
• Investment Approval: Board approved additional investment of up to ₹500 Cr in wholly owned subsidiary Paytm Cloud Technologies Ltd (PCTL) • Singapore Investment: PCTL also approved investment of up to ₹500 Cr in its wholly owned subsidiary, Paytm Singapore Pte. Ltd. • Investment Timeline: Both investments planned in one or more tranches over the next 12 months • Funding Structure: Investments to be made through cash consideration via equity subscriptions • Business Expansion: Funds intended to support working capital requirements, strategic investments and future business expansion • Technology Business: PCTL operates in IT services, technology infrastructure and digital solutions • International Expansion: Paytm Singapore focuses on payments, financial services and technology infrastructure, supporting Paytm's overseas business development • Ownership: Paytm will retain full ownership of PCTL, while PCTL will continue to own 100% of Paytm Singapore
