L&T : WINS MAJOR DHAKA METRO ORDERS WORTH OVER RS 5,000 CR

• Transportation Infrastructure vertical secures two Design & Build systems packages for Dhaka Metro Line 1 (Bangladesh's first underground metro) • Packages are CP09 Track Works & Electrical Systems and CP10 Signalling, Telecommunications & Platform Screen Doors • Orders classified as "Major", i.e. the ₹5,000-10,000 Cr value band as per L&T's stated order classification • Repeat orders from Dhaka Mass Transit Company (DMTCL), after L&T delivered the integrated railway systems package for Dhaka Metro Line 6 • CP09 to be executed with Japanese partner Sumitomo Corporation; CP10 for the entire network • Project spans ~31 km with 19 stations, funded by JICA
