TARIL : PLANS 3 GREENFIELD PLANTS WORTH OVER RS 2000 CR

• Three greenfield plants at Chiyada, Gujarat complex to make bushings (OIP, RIP, RIF up to 800 kV), pressboard & insulation materials and CTC • Construction commenced December 2025; commercial operations expected to begin in Q1 FY2027-28 • Plants to be housed under a wholly owned consolidated ancillary subsidiary of TARIL, giving control over quality, technology and procurement • Expected annual revenue potential of approximately ₹2,000 Cr once fully operational • Over 1,000 direct jobs across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality assurance and R&D • Aims to cut import dependence in critical transformer components and deepen vertical integration
