US PRIVATE-SECTOR HIRING SLOWS FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK
ADP reported average private-sector job gains of 16,750 per week for the four weeks ending October 10, down from 17,500 the previous week. Hiring has slowed from a recent peak of 26,000 weekly jobs in late September.
