KALYANI CAST TECH : GETS RDSO STAGE-I CONCEPT DESIGN APPROVAL FOR NEW WAGON

• RDSO (Ministry of Railways) letter dated 26 October 2026 grants Stage-I Concept Design Approval for the company's proposed new wagon design for ISO/domestic/dwarf containers • Approval granted under the Procedure for New Wagon Design Approval (PWDA) scheme • Design accorded for diagram drawings KCTL25-A-01 (A-car), KCTL25-B-01 (B-car) and KCTL25-C-01 (C-car) • Approval subject to compliance on negotiability over simple curves of 10 degrees and two closely spaced 1 in 8.5 turnouts with SRJ-to-SRJ distance of 0 m to 5 m • Company advised to submit Stage-II detail design documents, including guard container design updates and dynamics simulation reports • Approval expected to support expansion in the railway wagon segment and container transportation opportunities
