KLRF : EXPANDS SOLAR CAPACITY AT PUDUCHERRY WORTH OVER RS 4.25 CR

• Board approved raising solar generating capacity from 5 MW to 5.7 MW by adding 700 KW (0.7 MW) at Puducherry • Estimated capital outlay of ₹4.25 Cr to ₹4.50 Cr, to be funded via internal accruals and long-term bank loans • New capacity is for captive consumption of the foods division at Puducherry; existing 5 MW at Gangaikondan runs at 100% captive use for the engineering division • Installation expected to be completed by 31 March 2027, subject to approvals from concerned authorities • Company expects substantial saving in power cost at the Puducherry foods division • Board also approved appointment of R. Nandagopal as CEO of the foods division (KMP) for one year from 28 October 2026 to 27 October 2027
