HDFIRE : MPCB REFUSES CONSENT TO OPERATE FOR JALGAON EXPANSION

• MPCB letter dated October 28, 2026 refused the company's application for Consent to Operate for expansion of its existing Jalgaon facility • Refusal under Section 27 of the Water Act, 1974 and Section 21(4) of the Air Act, 1981 • Stated ground: non-submission of documentary evidence relating to Environment Clearance, as per show cause notice dated October 15, 2026 • Refusal pertains only to newly commissioned sheds at Plot K-99 and Gat No. 298/1 developed under the planned expansion • Consent to Operate for the existing Jalgaon manufacturing facility remains valid until March 31, 2029; existing operations continue as usual • Company says no material impact expected on manufacturing, financial performance or business; will review MPCB observations and re-file the application
