WELCORP : APPROVES $115 MN US PIPE CAPEX; $125 MN JORDAN PROJECT
• Board approves USD 115 million capex for debottlenecking and an additional spiral (HSAW) pipe facility at existing Little Rock, Arkansas location • US HSAW capacity to rise by 225 KMTPA to 575 KMTPA; facility expected operational by March 2028, funded through internal accruals • Jordan project with Perma-Pipe: total investment up to ~USD 125 million, funded ~50:50, for spiral pipe and coating facilities making 24 to 120 inch pipes • Board approves 49% stake purchase in Welspun Special Coating from WDI, with Perma-Pipe Qatar holding 51%; total JV investment up to ~₹110 Cr • Q2 revenue ₹4,643.72 Cr, up 6.2% YOY and 13.8% QOQ; net profit ₹495.09 Cr, up 11.6% YOY but down 52.8% QOQ on prior-quarter EPIC stake sale gain • Operating Ebitda margin 17.28% v 16.05% (YOY), 19.73% (QOQ)
