SCHNEIDER : BOARD APPROVES RS 211 CR CAPACITY EXPANSION
• Board approved enhancing Vacuum Interrupter capacity from 250,000 to 375,000 units per annum at the Kolkata Medium Voltage Components (KMVC) facility • Also approved adding Breaker capacity of 18,000 units per annum • Proposed investment of ₹211 Cr, to be funded via internal accruals and/or external borrowings • Capacity addition targeted for completion by end of FY 2028-29 • Rationale includes supporting capacity augmentation, export growth plans and technology upgradation
