SPORTKING INDIA Q2 FY27: PAT SURGES 241% YOY; ₹1,000 CR ODISHA CAPEX, 1.5 LAKH SPINDLES EXPANSION & PRODUCTION START TARGETED IN Q3 FY27
• Odisha Expansion: Company is investing approximately ₹1,000 Cr in a new greenfield textile manufacturing facility, adding 1,50,000 spindles • Commissioning Timeline: First phase of the Odisha plant expected to commence production during Q3 FY27, with the project progressing as planned • Capacity Expansion: New Odisha facility expected to strengthen yarn manufacturing capacity, with proximity to cotton-producing regions supporting operational efficiency • Quarterly Results: Revenue increased 24.5% YoY to ₹781.1 Cr, EBITDA surged 136.8% to ₹154.9 Cr and PAT jumped 240.9% to ₹96.4 Cr • Margin Improvement: EBITDA margin expanded 940 bps YoY to 19.8% from 10.4%, supported by improved realisations, favourable spreads and operational efficiency • Production Volumes: Yarn production remained nearly flat at 21,296 MT, while sales volumes increased to 21,172 MT from 20,949 MT YoY • Export Business: Exports contributed approximately 52.2% of H1 FY27 revenue, with export revenue growing 10.97% YoY • International Growth: Management expects improving export opportunities, supported by the India-UK Free Trade Agreement and progress on the India-EU FTA • Demand Outlook: Expects healthy domestic consumption, festive and wedding-season demand, improving export enquiries and global supply-chain diversification to support growth • Solar Power Expansion: Solar power project commissioned during Q1 FY27 is contributing to lower operating costs and increased renewable energy usage • H1 Performance: Revenue increased 22.4% YoY to ₹1,484.7 Cr, EBITDA grew 112.8% to ₹287.1 Cr and PAT surged 176.3% to ₹172.3 Cr • Future Growth Plans: Focused on completing Odisha capacity expansion, increasing exports, improving operational efficiency and capitalising on domestic and international textile demand • FY27 Guidance: Management remains confident about H2 performance
