ORIENTAL RAIL : FIRE AT WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY PLANT, NO MATERIAL IMPACT

• Fire occurred at ~3:00 AM on October 28, 2026 at Unit-I of Oriental Foundry Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, at Village Chopadva, Bhachau, Kutch, Gujarat • Fire originated due to a technical fault in a transformer within the plant premises; brought under control using in-house fire-fighting equipment and local Fire Brigade assistance • No loss of life or injuries reported; damage primarily confined to the affected transformer with minor damage to some raw materials/inventory/finished goods or other plant machinery • Manufacturing operations and production schedules continue as normal; affected transformer is being replaced • Facility is adequately insured and the insurance company has been informed Impact: Neutral (Damage described as negligible/minimal with no expected material impact on operations or financial performance)
