• Gujarat Appellate Authority (Division 8) dismissed company's appeal vide ref ZD2408260171987, upholding the original GST demand order • Demand of ₹9,85,640 (about ₹9.86 L) along with applicable penalty has been sustained • Demand order was passed under Section 130 on allegation that no e-way bill was produced when the vehicle was intercepted • The said amount was already auto-deducted from the company's cash ledger on 17/11/2021 • Order was received by email on 3 September 2026; company is examining it and evaluating further legal remedies • Company states it did not envisage any relevant impact on financials, operations or other activities
