ASTRAZENECA : DELHI HC BARS COERCIVE NPPA ACTION IN RS 151.20 CR DEMAND

• Delhi High Court order dated October 29, 2026 directs NPPA not to take coercive steps until next hearing on January 11, 2027 • NPPA notice alleged overcharging for Symbicort Turbuhaler 160/4.5 (Inhaler) from May 2016 to November 2025 under DPCO, 2013 • Order relates to NPPA demand of about ₹151.20 Cr comprising alleged overcharged amount and interest up to October 30, 2026 • Company had challenged the demand before Delhi HC after show cause notice dated September 11, 2025 and NPPA notice received July 29, 2026
