VMSTMT : FURNACE BREAKDOWN HALTS OPERATIONS AT GUJARAT PLANT

• Technical malfunction in 16 MW / 30 MT induction melting furnace on October 30, 2026 caused molten metal leakage • Operations temporarily suspended at manufacturing facility at Bhayla, Bavla, Ahmedabad, Gujarat • Leakage caused considerable damage to copper coil and other critical furnace components; associated transformer also appears damaged, extent yet to be ascertained • Cause of incident under investigation; no injury or loss of life reported • Factory adequately insured and insurance company duly informed • Exact timeline for resumption of normal operations presently not ascertainable
