HINDZINC : LAUNCHES VEDAZ AND VEDAYUSH ZINC ALLOYS

• Launched two new value-added zinc products, VedAZ and VedAyush, next-generation zinc alloys for the galvanizing industry on November 03, 2026 • VedAZ is a zinc-aluminium master alloy designed for better control of aluminium levels in galvanizing baths, uniform coating thickness and lower dross formation and zinc losses • VedAyush is a zinc-aluminium-magnesium alloy aimed at corrosion resistance, coating adhesion and surface stability in high humidity and coastal conditions • Products launched in India and will be available worldwide, catering to both domestic and international markets • Company operates a 30,000-tonne-per-annum zinc alloy melting and casting facility at Rajpura Dariba, Rajasthan through wholly owned subsidiary Hindustan Zinc Alloys Private Limited (HZAPL) • Company sees scope to grow value-added zinc business across infrastructure, automotive, engineering and consumer products
