PUNJAB CHEMICALS Q2 FY27: ₹100 CR CAPEX PLANNED; TARGETS ₹120–150 CR ADDITIONAL REVENUE, NEW PRODUCT VOLUMES TO DOUBLE IN FY27
• Revenue Growth Target: Management expects ₹120–150 Cr incremental revenue over the next 2–3 years from new product lines • Capex Expansion: Earmarked approximately ₹100 Cr for two multi-purpose manufacturing plants over the next 2–3 years to support domestic and export growth • FY27 Volume Guidance: Expects 100% volume growth during FY27 in newly commercialised agrochemical intermediates following capacity enhancement • Strategic Partnerships: Signed three exclusive MoUs with global customers for high-value agrochemicals and intermediates • Q4 FY27 Growth: Commercial lots supplied for two of the three MoU products, with volume ramp-up expected from Q4 FY27 • New Product Launches: Plans to introduce two herbicide intermediate products in the domestic market during Q3–Q4 FY27 • R&D Investment: Management plans to double R&D expenditure over the next two years to accelerate product development and innovation • Product Pipeline: More than 25 products under R&D and pilot development, with additional commercialisation trials planned in H2 FY27 • New Product Strategy: Working towards adding 6–8 products annually, including specialty chemicals, performance chemicals and intermediates • Manufacturing Expansion: Actively evaluating a new production site to support future capacity requirements and product diversification • Pilot Plant Expansion: Plans to revamp pilot manufacturing facilities to accelerate commercialisation and testing of new chemistries • Export Growth Strategy: Increasing focus on high-value intermediates, global CDMO partnerships and reducing dependence on domestic agrochemical demand • Margin Improvement Plans: Focused on backward integration, higher-value product mix, multi-step chemical manufacturing, process efficiency and technology adoption • Future Growth Strategy: Expanding into performance chemicals, fuel additives and specialised intermediates while strengthening relationships with global customers
