PLATIND : AUDITOR FLAGS QUALIFIED CONCLUSION ON SEPT QUARTER RESULTS

• Statutory auditor PKF Sridhar and Santhanam issued a qualified conclusion on the unaudited consolidated and standalone results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026 • Qualification relates to insurance claim receivable of ₹9.82 Cr recognised by subsidiary Platinum Polymers and Additives for the July 7, 2025 fire at its Palghar factory • Auditor said the claim receivable should have been recognised only upon acknowledgement of liability by the insurers; survey and related procedures were still in progress as at September 30, 2026 • Standalone qualification also covers the ₹10 Cr carrying amount of investment in that subsidiary, given its net asset position post-fire and repayment ability • Board approved the results on November 4, 2026 after audit committee review
