KMEW : ACQUIRES TSHD RIVER PEARL 48 FOR RS 250 CR
• Completed acquisition of River Pearl 48, a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger, at capital cost of approximately ₹250 Cr • Vessel has maximum dredging depth of 36 m and potential to dredge 8–10 million cubic metres per annum • Scheduled for immediate deployment at New Mangalore Port from 15 November 2026 to support the 3-year NMPA maintenance dredging contract of 15.9 million cubic metres • Built in 2021; 118.20 m length, 6,408 gross tonnage, 100% Indian crew and Indian Register of Shipping class • Indian ownership and flag place the vessel within the Right of First Refusal framework for eligible procurement
