US CHIP STOCKS SURGE AS AI SECTOR REBOUNDS FROM BRUTAL SELLOFF

Semiconductor stocks rallied sharply in Friday's premarket, with the iShares Semiconductor ETF up nearly 5% and Nasdaq 100 futures gaining 1.3%. Lam Research +9%, Micron +7.5%, Marvell +7%, AMD and Applied Materials +6%, while CoreWeave rebounded 6.3%. The recovery follows Thursday's AI rout and heavy Asian losses, with South Korea's KOSPI closing down over 6%.
